Naked Raku vase
Pickup currently unavailable
This stunning ceramic vase is entirely wheel-thrown, crafted with precision and artistry using the Naked Raku technique. The inside of the vase is finished with a smooth white glaze, while the top rim features a striking red accent, adding a bold touch to its minimalist design. The exterior remains unglazed, highlighting the raw, matte surface characteristic of Naked Raku.
Each vase is bisque-fired and then Raku-fired in a specialized kiln. The unpredictable nature of the Naked Raku process creates organic smoke patterns on the exterior, giving each vase its own distinct visual texture.
Dimensions:

Craftsmanship: Hand-thrown on the wheel and fired using the traditional Naked Raku process, each vase is a unique expression of artistry. Made in my studio in Urbino, Italy, each piece is stamped with the Di Luca Ceramics mark to ensure its authenticity.
Care Instructions: These vases are not frost-proof and should not be used outdoors. To clean, gently wipe the surface with a soft cloth. For added protection on the unglazed areas, apply liquid wax to preserve the finish and prevent humidity stains. As a low-fired piece, the vase is delicate and not watertight, making it unsuitable for holding liquids or food.
Each vase is a carefully crafted piece of art, perfect for display or as a thoughtful gift. The photos shown reflect the exact vase you will receive.
